As an Intern – Associate Project Manager, Qualification in the Storage Business Unit (SBU), you will work in the following areas:

Project qualification management and process efficiency – Work with Ecosystem Partner Qualification Manager, Technical Customer Managers and other Micron groups, to review processes, document and measure processes, lead meetings to develop process improvements, implement new processes, within the Customer Qualification Team.
Shadowing Ecosystem Partner Qualification Manager and TCMs - Participate in the Marketing Requirement Document process to ensure that hardware, software and encryption requirements are being driven into new SSD designs and that testing and certification expectations are well understood.
Work with Partners and Micron Engineering to ensure that all new Micron’s SSD products are tested and can meet the requirements to secure the necessary certification and/or registered on an Approved Vendor’s List (AVL)/Compatibility Lists/Compatibility Guides as defined by the market and OEM customers.
Report to team and management on internship successes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Process review, development / optimization, documentation and design of training for new /revised processes.
Development of new ecosystem partnership relationships.
Monitor and drive for a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and strategies.
Manage the key activities required to launch new products into the market.
Develop models, methodologies and criteria for evaluating product concepts and tradeoffs.

Passion for process review and improvement from an internal consulting perspective.
Able to evaluate business goals from a high-level and understand how processes support the achievement of business goals.
Able to analyze data sets, draw insights, and communicate those insights effectively.
Excellent interpersonal relationships and able to interview and gather insights from teams and individuals, including facilitation of process improvement meetings.

Bachelor’s Degree (or nearing completion) in Business, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field or equivalent degree.
Pursuing MBA or Master’s Degree in Business (desired, but not required).

This positions can sit in either Boise, ID or Longmont, CO
