WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?: This program is renowned in the industry for developing business leaders. Merchandising is the heart of our business and no other team impacts the bottom line more. Of course, our approach to Merchandising is unlike any other retailer, so we’ll make sure you have the right classroom and on the job training to give you a head start on a long-term career.
It begins with classroom and on the job training where you will get an inside view of the business and a better understanding of our off-price business model before you move into your first role as an Allocation Analyst within Merchandising Planning & Allocation. In this role, you will be assigned a specific product area and will be empowered to help drive sales by allocating the exciting mix of brands that our Buyers have purchased. You willdo this by analyzing sales trends and anticipating consumer buying patterns and product trends. You will conduct store visits to evaluate merchandise assortments as well as interact with all levels of management. Throughout, you’ll benefit from the mentorship and guidance of your own Development Partner during your training.

We offer a structured career path that begins in Planning & Allocation and can lead into Buying and Executive Management. Our Buyers are global travelers, sourcing from over 100 countries to build relationships and negotiate with more than 20,000 vendors. Our Buyersare responsible for the amazing merchandise and exciting values found in our stores.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This program is for self-starters who already have the foundation of strategic and analytical thinking and are now ready to put them to use in the world of business. Specifically, we are looking for:
Graduating Seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or above
A strong ability to work with numbers, analyze data and think critically
A genuine interest in retail, product and following trends
Students with an entrepreneurial spirit that want to drive for results
Excellent communicators who work well in teams
Students with proven leadership abilities and a strong work ethic
Problem solvers who can think creatively
