REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
Primarily responsible for providing analytical support for various projects within Chicago Parking Meters, LLC (“CPM”). Responsible for managing data, providing business analytics, making strategic recommendations and supporting initiatives. Responsible for creating and managing complex business models analyzing potential cost savings, long-term operational efficiencies, and on-going project metrics. Responsible for oversight of software development projects performed by third-party contractors.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Provide analysis, recommendations, and support for various projects within CPM. Projects include the rollout and ongoing performance measurement for CPM’s parking meter system and process improvements. The position will support and contribute to the success of these projects, including one or more of the following functions:
Manage the collection of meter data, which is supplied through the operator and meter equipment software, and provide analysis of this data. As required, provide input and recommendations for leveraging this data to drive improved asset performance.
Develop and support profitability analyses and models, including potential revenue, projected cost-savings, and operating efficiency maximization models. Recommend and develop automated processes for collecting data and managing output for these models. Coordinate the activities of external consultants, who provide services to CPM. Participate in the development of industry leading work process, technology, revenue collection, financial reporting, and profitability analysis initiatives.
Direct the work of Analysts and Junior Analysts to complete projects as required.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Three or more years of industry experience and college degree in a technical or analytic field. Strong analytical, and communication skills required. Ability to organize and prioritize work, and to interpret and present information clearly and professionally. Must be proactive, meet assigned deadlines, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, must have a strong ability to mobilize people and work with both internal and external contacts. Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge in Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) and performance management software.
