The Operations Order Management Logistics team makes sure physical deliveries happen on schedule so Google's virtual world keeps humming. As a member of the team, you help manage the logistics and transportation of vendor deliveries. From global deployments of servers to the delivery of networking gear, you need to make sure the right equipment arrives at the right location at the right time. What you oversee is often overseas, and you work with international governmental organizations to ensure imported equipment arrives smoothly. You also work with internal customers to measure and define processes, constantly using data to improve our systems.

From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. Manage multiple 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) locations across the region for consistent performance.
Solve logistics challenges with speed and accuracy.
Lead 3rd Party Logistics partners to establish facts, solve complex challenges, and establish corrective action plans.
Manage and monitor metrics for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and vendor performance scorecards.
Build business cases to support any logistics changes or improvements.

Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience working with third party logistics partners and outsourced providers in domestic and international environments.

Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
6 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to prepare and present detailed documented business cases to stakeholders and management.
Effective analytical skills, with the ability to apply structured thinking and logic to your work and provide solutions to challenges.
Excellent decision making skills.
Excellent communications and follow-up skills.
