Job Posting: Intensive Family Preservation Therapist

consultation and training in the health and human services field. We serve children and
families through referrals from the Division of Children and Family Services and Juvenile
Probation with the following service needs:
1. Parenting Skills/Supervised Visitation
2. Family Support
3. Intensive Family Preservation (IFP)
Paradigm, Inc. is seeking Intensive Family Preservation Therapists to perform a
variety of duties and tasks to coordinate and implement services based on a case plan
developed and facilitated by a Children and Family Service’s Worker or Juvenile Probation Officer. The primary goals of this service is to stabilize and strengthen families by preventing abuse/neglect of children, assisting in providing permanency for children in care and/or enhancing community safety. The IFP Therapist will provide services primarily in the family home and will focus on improvement of the family functioning through the use of trauma informed therapeutic interventions, documented skill acquisition in the areas of parenting, communication, behavior management, and life skills. The IFP Therapist’s main focus is to stabilize the home to preserve permanency of the child(ren).
Wages and Benefits:

Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or related area; must have or qualify for a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner license.
- Demonstrated successful ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Solid communication and computer skills.
- Clear criminal history background and adult/child abuse checks.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving history.
