Digital Content Coordinator

The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for the creating curating and sharing unique and compelling content across Milwaukee Bucks and team-related digital platforms, as well as promoting year-round engagement across the organization’s digital audience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Create engaging and dynamic content daily for Bucks fans to consume on digital platforms (
Strategize and execute video content and for Bucks digital channels.
Conceptualize and design graphics for social and web
Cover and provide real-time social media updates from games, practices and events
Work closely with Digital Communications Manger to operate Bucks’ social media platforms
Create behind-the-scenes/off-the-court team/player features, community features and fan profiles
Exhibit compelling and creative storytelling through all content and use of digital and social media platforms
Ensure all content is on brand, consistent in style, quality and voice
Develop and maintain content strategy that supports and extends initiatives across the organization, while using analytics to optimize content type and publish schedule
Leverage trending topics/current events to develop content themes and spontaneous activation's
Assist with paid media campaigns, lead-generation and ticket sales
Supports the content creation and execution of content publishing for the Wisconsin Entertainment & Sports Center, Wisconsin Herd and other team related accounts.
Attend and cover Bucks and Wisconsin ESC events, concerts, community initiatives and other events.

Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in communications, journalism/broadcast or relevant field
At least 2-4 years experience in journalism/broadcast, marketing or content role preferred.
Ability to thrice in a fast pace work environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Must be able to excel under pressure
Excellent written and communication skills with superior attention to detail and proof-reading experience.
Experience with social media tools for business, including those offered by the major platforms and third parties.
Familiarity with paid social media buying and optimization preferred.
Must possess strong analytical skills
Capacity to think creatively and contribute new ideas
Ability to think and react quickly and appropriately to unpredictable situations
Understanding of social media platforms and appropriate use in a business setting
Design skills, including experience with Adobe CC
Video editing skills, including experience with Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Ability to work nights, weekends and occasional holidays
Understanding of basketball culture
Knowledge of the City of Milwaukee and the Bucks
