Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is seeking a highly-motivated, team-oriented First Assistant to join our highly talented CVOR team. The first assist will provide assistance to the surgeon in all aspects of procedures, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. The first assist will also assist the surgeon at the chest, handling tissue, retraction, hemostasis, suturing, typing, cannulation, and wound closure. The first assist will also be involved in open/endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and open/endoscopic radial artery harvesting.
Candidate must be a graduate from a school of Surgical Technology First Assistant program with experience in cardiovascular procedures and endoscopic vein harvesting. 5 years of cardiovascular and EVH experience is required, 10 years of experience is strongly preferred.
This is full time days, four 10 hour shifts from 5:30am - 4:00pm with on-call every other weekend.
