This position is as a show attorney for CBS syndicated shows. The attorney will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of production from inception of story idea through to broadcast to minimize the risks from third party claims including, without limitation, claims of copyright infringement, invasion of privacy and defamation. Position also entails monitoring all promotional material, internet content and sweepstakes/contests for legal compliance as well as handle clearance, likeness and materials releases, location releases, product integration, staff agreements and all other agreements required.

The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be well-organized and able to multi-task in a time sensitive, fast-paced production environment. Good judgment and the ability to work independently with talent and producers under time-sensitive constraints a must. The successful candidate will have:

2+ years law firm experience
Litigation or oversight of outside counsel
In-house entertainment or production legal experience
Knowledge of defamation, privacy, fair use, copyright and trademark law
