Minimum of three year of experience working in a purchasing department with experience in verification of specifications and price; securing recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; coordinating approvals from requisitioning department(s); assistance with obtaining purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
Minimum of one year of experience with tracking of budget Expenses, vendor relationships, organization, customer service, documentation skills on an executive level
One or more years of experience in the healthcare industry
Must be skilled in Microsoft Suite
Experience with accounts payable and accounting systems
Highly organized to keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
Maintains administrative workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; assisting in developing reporting procedures.
Maintains rapport with customers, managers, and employees by arranging continuing contacts; researching; setting priorities; resolving problem situations.
