We are currently seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist Cinema.

This role publishes digital content provided by the Cinema Marketing team and approved consultants, agents and suppliers online for the purpose of:

Maintaining the currency of published cinema data online.
Successfully transition marketing programmes and campaigns online utilizing customer journey mapping, persona development and assessment of agreed metrics and KPIs.
Building a cinema community via social media that adopts Christie as their “trusted cinema technology expert” and become ambassadors of Christie’s brand in cinema.
Guide the development of campaign and content marketing assets (for use online) to secure increased visitor conversion and community subscription by assessment of agreed metrics, form analysis and online polling & surveys.
Through reporting present the value of Christie’s online marketing to our “customers” (Christie’s sales team, channel, operators, buyers/investors and the broader cinema exhibition community) and guide cinema marketing programmes, campaigns and content development to be more effective with each successive iteration.
The role is required to adopt a proactive position to maintain an understanding of “customers” needs and motivations; including consideration of competitor offerings. And is able to determine the concepts to which “customers” are most receptive when visiting online platforms or engaging content published online.

Over time the incumbent will secure sufficient customer and market knowledge to be recognised as a functional expert offering aid to Christie’s cinema marketing team, the Corporate Digital Marketing team and GIS to identify online platform and social media requirements addressing functionality, template design, automation, site & page navigation and measurement of visitor engagement.

The role is global in nature, as are its accountabilities and responsibilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performance will be measured by:
The scheduled or timely (as agreed) publication of cinema information online, across all approved global platforms and subscribed channels; with the exception of China where the role supports the Online Marketing Specialist for Cinema; in the regionalisation and publishing of cinema information.
Accuracy and currency of cinema information published online across all supported online platforms (owned or subscribed) to ensure that visitors and followers have access to current and correct information of the Cinema division’s products, services, support, processes and activity.
Meeting targets (quantitative and qualitative) mutually agreed with the Marketing Director Cinema for visitor engagement of Christie published cinema information.
Meeting targets (quantitative and qualitative) mutually agreed with the Marketing Director Cinema for developing a cinema community via agreed social media platforms.
Effective utilisation of online customer data, online competitor activity to inform and guide the development of future cinema marketing programmes, campaigns and content that will be produced or transitioned for online publication.
Advocacy of brand guidelines and a unified corporate identity in the marketing and communication of cinema products and services.
The global delivery of this role and its responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
CMS Update Queue

Administer the CMS Update Queue on a daily basis to collate and communicate requested changes to online cinema content published by Christie and this role following the agreed approval process.

And in so doing ensure;

Content changes are communicated to the cinema division, approved by the appropriate stakeholder and implemented to agreed schedule or in a timely fashion with the exception of China where the role supports the Online Marketing Specialist Cinema in the regionalisation and publishing of cinema information.
Content directories, menus, links and related content remain operable and relevant. “Parking” content change requests that do not support active content directories, menus, links and related content; highlighting parked content to management and the requestor.
SEO, meta-data and meta-tags remain current and relevant following the administration of CMS content change requests to in-page template content.
That report tracking is flagged to time-stamp content changes that are likely to influence significant changes to metric and KPI reporting for the content or in-page template.
That approved content changes are regionalized, as required, and published on the appropriate language or regional site.
Marketing Programmes & Campaigns

Work with the cinema marketing team to transition cinema marketing programmes and campaigns online (inc. social media). And in so doing ensure;

The agreed transition schedule is met in order to leverage the benefit of integrated marketing programmes and campaigns.
Content directories, links and related content remain operable and relevant. And that appropriate corporate and cinema division “real estate” is used to promote the transitioned programme or campaigns as appropriate to its importance. Requesting asset generation where needed.
Cinema SM community is leveraged to secure engagement of the transitioned programme or campaign, as appropriate to its importance. Requesting asset generation where needed.
Appropriate SEO, meta-data and meta-tags is implemented, monitored and where necessary amended to help meet mutually agreed metrics and KPIs.
On completion of (or when directed, prior to) transition; utilize Christie’s ENVOKE system and its EDM marketing automation to inform tracked visitors and captured “customer” data of cinema marketing programmes and campaigns. Where of benefit and supporting content is available developing lead nurturing EDM sequenced narratives.
Meet mutually agreed qualitative and quantitative targets set online programmes and campaigns.

SM Community Building

Utilizing Christie’s brand heritage in cinema, its reputation for product innovation & industry firsts and relevant content marketing assets to build a cinema community across currently subscribed SM channels.

Ensuring awareness of Christie’s brand proposition reaches a considerably larger audience of influencers to the cinema exhibition community than could be reached by other Christie online properties alone and that;

SM postings (and related content) influence SM followers (and their own spheres of influence) to recognize Christie as a trusted cinema technology expert. With the exception of China, where the role supports the Online Marketing XXXX Cinema in the building of an SM cinema community.
The SM cinema community become brand ambassadors, referencing positive brand experience by sharing Christie or own-developed content beyond the subscribed audience; meeting mutually agreed qualitative and quantitative targets. With the exception of China, where the role supports the Digital Marketing Specialist Cinema.
Support cinema programmes adoption and campaign engagement to achieve mutually agreed qualitative and quantitative targets.

Reporting & Guidance for Content Marketing Development

Through reporting present the value of Christie’s online marketing to our “customers” (Christie’s sales team, channel, operators, buyers/investors and the broader cinema exhibition community) and guide cinema marketing programmes, campaigns and content development to be more effective with each successive iteration.

Provide dashboard reporting with the support of the Corporate Digital Marketing team (and relevant service providers) that captures required metric and KPIs and ensure the dashboard is accessible to all approved stakeholders for agreed programmes, campaigns, online platforms (inc. social media).
Produce reporting to the cinema marketing team, as agreed, to help the team assess performance of programmes and campaigns transition online. And utilizing best practice, occupational knowledge and over-time - trend data; communicate what action needs to be taken to improve programme, campaign and content performance.
Utilize polls, surveys, lead nurturing techniques, split-testing and form & page led “clickbait” to determine visitor / community intent, effectiveness of the commercial propositions, content and messaging via Envoke, EDM, Christie’s cinema e-zine, downloadable content and promotions.
Work with the Online Marketing XXXX Cinema to develop useful reporting practices within the limitations set by the Chinese Government. Making recommendation as how Christie might improve online SM reporting, online & SM communication and marketing practices.

Other responsibilities include;

Production of monthly activity report.
Ensure that online Christie cinema publishing is brand compliant.
Engage, collaborate and communicate with functional experts across the marketing function.
Work with the cinema marketing team to ensure a common understanding of each other’s goals, processes and customer needs.
Assist the company to meet its objectives, live the values and culture and to practice, support and enforce company policy.
Other marketing activities as required.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree as indicated in Digital Marketing (preferred), Social Media Marketing, Digital Publishing, Marketing Communication or other related field.
Certification from recognized bodies like the IDM or CIM or other professionally accredited courses are considered positively but not required.
Minimum 2 years on the job experience and 3 years previous experience in a similar role. (B2B experience is preferred).
Publishing via Episerve CMS or recognised industry equivalent
Hand-coding HTML and CSS
Social Media account administration and publishing for a B2B organization.
Configuration and testing of SEO for web templates
Collation and analysis of key digital marketing metrics.
