Truck Driver-Field Technician!
Monday - Friday
Position Summary: Our drivers deliver copy machines and are responsible for unloading, setting up the copier, programming them & training the office staff on basic usage. Qualified drivers must have a basic understanding of computers, technology. We provide a 45 day training period to ensure our drivers are trained to be successful in this role. Non CDL!
Pay: $18 an hour

Full Time, Truck Driver-Field Technician
**Position Requirements: Must Have a Valid License and Experience Driving/Delivering using Large Box Trucks
Regional - Possibly up to 2 overnights per week. Hotel Accommodations provided.
Delivery Areas: MA, RI, CT, NH, ME, VT
Dispatch times: 1st Shift
Work week: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays if requested by customer
Skillset: This individual will provide basic level tutorial training for copier usage and must have basic level computer skills for set up. Strong customer service skills are essential.
Company Provided Training: 90 day training period with hands on training
Freight Handling: Load, deliver, unload with light assembly

Please note: In order to be considered for employment with Ryder as a Driver – you must meet one of the CDL driving experience levels listed below:
1 year experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
IMPORTANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
List 3 full years of residency. List 10 full years of employment history. All gaps of employment within the previous 10 years must be listed in the Employment Gap section.
Minimum 22 years of age
Minimum of 12 months of verifiable driving experience
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Other tasks as assigned
