Clinical Psychologist Staff Position

Seeking Virginia Licensed Clinical Psychologists (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).

We are looking for an adult clinical psychologist and a child/adolescent clinical psychologist, who are licensed in Virginia. Candidates already credentialed with commercial insurance companies strongly preferred. We welcome clinicians who want to work both independently and as a member of a team, with autonomy and support to develop the areas of interest and expertise important to you.

Our practice offers:

  • On-line patient registration and assessment screening that is available to you prior to the initial appointment.
  • A wide range of patient referrals. You will not need to market your services.
  • State of the art electronic health record that allows you to efficiently document your clinical contact and easily coordinate your treatment with other relevant providers.
  • Psychiatrists and nurse practitioners available to provide psychopharmacology services.
  • After hours on-call provided for your patients.
  • A credentialing specialist who maintains up to date credentialing for all clinicians.
  • Class A office space with all furniture, computer, and software provided. We strive to have waiting areas and offices that are comfortable for both you and your patients.
  • Opportunities to work in medical settings as our integration initiatives expand.

Our history:

Commonwealth Counseling Associates was established in 2001 and has grown to include 45 clinicians in four suburban locations. The majority of our clinicians are psychologists along with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and social workers. Within our practice we work with and for each other to deliver the best care possible in a comfortable and caring setting.
