Ruby Range Adventure Inc. is a local tour operator that has been offering tours in Alaska and Yukon for 35 years. Our company is looking for a personable and professional Experienced German Speaking Tour Guide for Summer 2025.

We are seeking for our US division an enthusiastic, dynamic individuals to join our team as Adventure Tour Guides. If you love the outdoors, enjoy storytelling, and driving, this role is perfect for you. Lead engaging tours, inspire guests, and ensure safe transport while promoting responsible tourism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Conduct engaging, safe, and memorable outdoor tours, including hiking, wildlife watching, and cultural experiences.
- Safe Driving: Safely operate a 24-passenger coach or a 15-passenger van to transport guests to and from tour locations.
- Storytelling and Education: Share your knowledge about the local flora, fauna, geography, and history with guests in an interesting and accessible way.
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience, catering to their interests and ensuring their safety.
- Trip Planning and Coordination: Organize trip details, manage itineraries, and ensure all aspects of the tours run smoothly.
- Environmental Stewardship: Promote and practice sustainable and responsible tourism.
Qualifications:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Possess a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements required to operate a commercial passenger vehicle in Alaska.
Professional Driving Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience driving 24 passenger coach
Wilderness First Aid (Minimum 40 hours)
Knowledge of Alaska and Yukon: Demonstrate a strong understanding and knowledge of Yukon and Alaska's geography, history, culture, and popular attractions.
Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and engage with passengers of diverse backgrounds and ages.
Safety Consciousness: Exhibit a strong commitment to safety, attentiveness to the road, and the ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $200.00 - $275.00 per day
