Full Job Description
Provide logistics support on the deployment team for an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for a DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Support pre-deployment and deployment activities through procurement actions, data analysis, and medical device and equipment tracking. Apply expertise in logistics and project management to plan and accomplish goals. Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to obtain and share information. Apply lessons learned to improve the deployment of hardware and equipment to the next region.
5+ years of experience with program management aor project management
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports for management using the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or SharePoint
Ability to analyze and develop logistics plans for hardware deployment to military facilities
Ability to manage the procurement of hardware to facilities
Ability to create and review procedures for inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost
Ability to develop and maintain a hardware standard for site distribution
Ability to extract data from reports, including CDRLs, SOPs, or reports to identify risks and issues
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with consulting in support of the government preferred
Knowledge of a variety of the logistics field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to work daily with team members and clients who are at both onsite and offsite locations
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment that includes daily juggling of multiple deliverables and meetings
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
