Summary of Position: Assist audiologists, hearing health care professionals and other customers over the phone, email and occasionally face to face with questions/technical support, taking orders, processing returns etc. Experience in hearing or medical sales and customer service experience is not a requirement but is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtain a fundamental and thorough technical understanding of a fairly extensive product line
  • Communicate with customers daily via phone, email, and occasionally face to face
  • Perform daily data entry – set up new customers, enter orders, process returns, etc.
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, & recommend products based on those needs
  • Respond to inquiries & complaints in an efficient and timely manner
  • Help persuade customers and occasionally negotiate in order to close sales
  • Other tasks and projects as determined by your supervisor

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service and/or inside sales experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Friendly, positive, outgoing personality
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Good communicator and effective listener
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated / Self-starter
  • Persistent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable and confident learning new computer software
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office programs (basic skills testing is a prerequisite to being offered employment)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently
  • Creative problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
