Lansdowne Resort and Spa is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales/Marketing and Conference Planning team. This individual leads the social media strategy for the resort and is our proactive PR coordinator. He/she also provides graphic design and branding services to various business units at the resort. The goal is to provide social media customer engagement, generate news stories, drive website traffic and provide graphic design services for the resort.

Essential Functions

Graphic design skills
Proven working experience in social media or related field
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of photography and videography
Public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to network and build relationships in the community
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Fluency in English
BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

Knowledge of use of the listed software/programs and ability to adapt to a unique art culture within the hospitality industry:

Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, Salesforce, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Adobe Suite CS6 (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat 7.0, Dreamweaver), Cision


Must be a confident self starter with the ability to manage a project from start to completion. Strong knowledge of social media and video editing preferred. Strong graphic design, communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. Detail oriented, creative, personable, articulate, and a creative problem solver preferred. Desire to be a part of a great company and the drive to work for great results is a must.

Design marketing materials and collateral including email blasts
Assist with print and digital collateral, production of ad/art work regarding submission deadlines
Generate, edit and publish and share daily content (text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and creates a social community
Manage our social media channels
Administer and create relevant, creative and high-quality content for social media and emails
Write press releases, media advisories and media alerts
Pitch stories to target journalists in the local, regional and national target markets
Coordinate press trips, media visits and special events
Cultivate online leads and create brand advocates
Create editorial calendars and publishing schedule
Liaise between all revenue outlets of the resort (finalizing details, coordinating photo shoots, promotion of upcoming events)
Execute key marketing campaign deliverables to promote seasonal themes and initiatives
Attend on-site conferences and provide social media and video-editing services
Complete communication documents to management team (month end reports)
Utilize Google Analytics to elevate data, and determine new strategies, new content, and new campaigns
