Position Summary: ExcelSports Management is seeking an experienced sales executive to focus on thesale of marquee partnership assets, including but not limited to stadium namingrights, jersey sponsorships, and other sponsorship related consulting servicesfor prestigious sports and entertainment properties across the globe. Excelrepresents several clients in the Esports & Gaming space, which would be amajor area of focus for this individual and thus, experience and knowledgewithin this industry is preferred.
EssentialDuties & Responsibilities:
Identifies qualified leads (companies andbrands) to approach regarding marquee partnership asset(s) Excel has beenretained to sell on behalf of our clients;
Schedules andexecutes calls and face to face meetings with prospective partners;
Works collaborativelywith the marketing solutions department to:
Build the narrativeand storyline for corporate sales opportunities;
Structure impactfulpresentations for prospective partners;
Presents, negotiatesand closes deals for the Properties division;
Supports othercorporate sales revenue lines, including talent (primarily basketball,baseball, golf and football) as well as brands that Excel directly representsin a consulting capacity;
Continuouslynetworks and builds relationships with senior-level decision makers at majorcorporations, teams, leagues, venues, and governing bodies;
All other duties asassigned.
Bachelor’s degree required;
Must have 5+ years of direct, relevant work experience;
Global sales and marketing experience preferred;
Must have a proven track record of delivering 7 and 8 figuresponsorships;
Strong knowledge of the Esports and Gaming sector ispreferred.

Musthave the demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environmentwith peers and subordinates;
Musthave excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills;
Must have theability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regardinginterpersonal relationships;
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects whilebeing responsive to the needs of the division and peers, be able to prioritizeeffectively and exercise flexibility as needed;
Results and bottom-line oriented yet will possesssensitivity towards people and values;
Must be a natural and confident salesperson with a provenability to generate creative ideas.
