Classic Mazda Denton, TX had an immediate opening for Automotive Service Advisors

You are the customers primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair needs, the Service Advisor must listen and thoroughly understand customer concerns, and manage expectations on the part of the customers and the technicians in terms of service delivery.

The ideal candidate for this position has some post-secondary automotive training, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience is preferred, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Must have a clean driving record, and a strong technical and customer service performance record.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meets/greets customers in person or on phone
  • Arranges prompt and accurate diagnosis of reported problem
  • Makes best-value repair recommendations based upon nature of the problem
  • Manages delivery of required repair action by successfully setting and managing customer expectations
  • Maintains documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports, etc.
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
  • Accepts accountability for delivering outstanding service levels

Qualifications and Skills

  • One year of experience in a dealership or large facility repair organization preferred
  • Verifiable customer service performance record and/or training required
  • Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
