Our Sr. Technical Recruiter is an “A” Player who leads by example, is a top producing expert, and can positively work among a solid SWAT team of Technical Recruiters and raise the bar. Champion Technical Recruiting best practices, technical interviewing, candidate preparation and engagement briefing, as well as retention of consultants on engagement. Able to speak at Technical Recruiting boot camps and share what you’ve learned on technologies, roles, and interviewing questions. Work in alignment with our Practice Principles and Technical Sales Executives to build engagement teams and solutions for enterprise clients. Maintaining contact with consultants, and build strong network of technical expert consultants, and clients we engage with. Responsible for consistently delivering highly qualified consultants on successful engagements and placements that last.
Recruiting focus: Advanced Technology and Management Consulting for AIDM and T-RISC Practice areas.
Application, Infrastructure, and Data Management (AIDM) Practice: Big Data, Data Science, ETL, BI, DW. Cloud migrations and optimization. DevOps Automation.
Technology Risk, Information Security, IT Compliance (T-RISC) Practice:
IT Compliance & Regulatory Assurance – IT SOX, PCI, HIPAA/HITECH, ISO 27001/2 readiness & remediation, Controls Design. IT Audit Co-sourcing.
Technology Risk Management – GRC solution integration and process mapping, Technology Risk Assessments, Risk Registers, IT Risk Dashboards, Risk Data management.

Partner with Consulting Teams and executives to clearly understand the ask, gather requirements, and shape the required criteria for open positions.
Recruit for the firm first and engagement last. Recruit ex Big 4 Consultant athletes with Technical Solutions Design, management consulting experience across multiple domains.
Research new technical spaces in order to understand the opportunity, quickly learn how to ask the right questions in the right context to separate wheat from chaff.
Plan and execute the delivery process and take full ownership of fully interviewing, top grading, presenting, preparing consultants for client interviews, hire recommendations, on boarding coordination, and maintaining relationships with consultants while on engagement.
Conduct technical interviews. Interview candidates to determine best practice, engagement, team fit.
Build strategic relationships with 20-30 expert consultants whom you have already interviewed in each of the technical service offering areas. Know the top 5 at any given time.
Know the competitions’ Consultants better than they do. Be their first call (PWC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG).
Effectively communicate ITmPowered’s culture and vision, and how that maps to a candidate’s values.
Put “TECHNICAL” back in Technical Recruiter – train team on technical practice areas you know well.
Set the pace on the Technical Recruiting team in terms of Technical depth / aptitude, Productivity, Quality, and Technical Recruiting Best Practices.
Recruit passive candidates from existing relationships / referrals / social networking / user groups, as well as active candidates from referrals, alumni, and ATS/CRM.
FULLY INTERVIEW candidates in person; technical screening, years experience, reference relationships, communication / presentation skills, and other job hunting activity.
Optimize, differentiate, edit, and sell technical resumes, and check references.
Set the bar as the person to beat fostering a friendly and competitive environment.
Deliver 1+ hires/wk avg. and proactively back that up with the activity and quality to generate that result.
Track all recruitment activity, productivity, and hiring metrics with a baseball scout’s tenacity.
5-8 Years professional Technical Recruiting including technical interviewing & full life cycle recruiting.
Proven top performer – multiple President’s club, Performers Trips, etc. – routinely productive.
Boolean fluent and Tool savvy – ATS (Maxhire, Bullhorn, etc.) LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed.
Technical interviewer (not just screening and presenting) – full interviews – can tech question in context.
Technical aptitude – Technical subject matter understanding, knows tech questions and context.
Proven Producer – Solid Pace Setter – 1+ hire/wk avg., regular activity and quality to generate that result – screening, interviews, submittals, sendouts.
Load balancing – juggling and delivering on multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
Pro-active recruiting a virtual bench / candidate pipeline, and have multiple options before job open.
Phone friendly – enjoys building and calling candidate lists, interviews, sub’s, briefing / preparing candidates for success in interviews, and keeps relationships during engagements.
Skills in MS Office, MS Word, Outlook, O365, SharePoint navigation, Skype for Business. Autotext.
Background networking, volunteering, recruiting in ISACA, ISSA, RSA, RMISC, OWASP, SANS type groups.
Experience sourcing candidates including referrals, job boards, social media and networking groups.
Proven background in building long term relationships with consultants, clients, and team mates.
