Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE) seeks a Web Marketing Specialist whose primary responsibility is the creation, maintenance and enhancement of ICE’s digital properties, which primarily include www.theice.com , www.nyse.com , and www.intercontinentalexchange.com . The Web Marketing Specialist will integrate, and promote a consistent experience across the web properties via a web content management system, and leverage metrics, analytics and reporting tools to inform and improve natural and paid search presence. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital and Web, the Web Marketing Specialist will work with business units and developers to craft engaging and maintainable web experiences. The ideal candidate will be experienced at developing and maintaining HTML/CSS for use with a CMS system, knowledge of best practices for SEO (search engine optimization), experience with Google Adwords placement and budgeting, and have the ability to interpret user behavior to promote new solutions. The successful candidate will have true enthusiasm for technology, a familiarity with content strategy and enjoy working with a tight-knit, marketing team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide consultative guidance to the businesses) on content, web design and user experience based on business needs and requirements.
Implement and maintain design and content solutions via web content management system.
Guide design/UX direction for web properties based on industry best practices.
Assist in development of marketing automation (landing pages, forms, SEM ads) and email templates based in HTML
Manage routine campaign management for web based or email based delivery
Knowledge and Experience

Degree in marketing, communications, computer science, design or related field
Advanced level proficiency in adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
3+ years experience with an enterprise web content management system
Proven understanding of UX and UI best practices for web properties and the systems that manage them.
3+ years experience working with major ecommerce sites, agency or financial web properties
3+ years experience updating and developing templates in a marketing automation system
Proven ability in coding HTML5 and CSS
Familiarity with designing/coding for email platforms
Understanding and ability to trouble shoot basic code markup for email and web platforms
Proven problem solving skills and a love for design challenges
A passion for web design and fast paced environments
Strong curiosity about users/visitors, and how to anticipate their needs by understanding behaviors
