The hired candidate will coordinate and guide painting jobs from scheduling through completion and serve as the serve as the communication conduit between customers, paint sub-contractors, estimators and the owner. Ensure all prospective customers are served with the objective of meeting and exceeding their needs, wants and dreams as it relates to their painting projects and creating a customer for life. Ensure clear communicated between sales, sub-contractors and back to the customer. Develop a close working relationship with the Estimator(s) and the Owner to ensure all expectations set forth are met.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure assigned project(s) are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting clients' needs and delivering a quality product.
Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.
Plan, schedule and coordinate painting projects from estimated to complete.
Draw up schedules and plans of operation for painting projects in close consultation with homeowners, architects, contractors, remodelers and and other representatives.
Solicit proposals from painting subcontractors and keep proper ratios of painting crews to estimators.
Coordinating other trades such as: pressure washing, carpenters, stucco repair, etc.
Schedule and award sub-contractors purchase orders and change orders as needed.
Lead safety meetings and document.
Ensure proper documentation control and record keeping.
Ensure accuracy in estimates and job costing and facilitate weekly owner payroll reports.
Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out.
Communicate the scheduling preferences and needs of the customer to the Owner by making notes in CORE and/or scheduling the job through the Company Calendar.
Minimum experience levels vary by location.
Diverse expertise with a variety of building types. Experience in residential repainting a plus. Prior experience with residential and light commercial construction a plus. Additional experience with other project types, such as medical office building, schools, office, public sector and related facilities a plus but not required.
Budget control and job cost forecasting experience and skills.
Experience in ability to prepare conceptual estimates, project estimates, and assist in the preparation of proposals.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and public contract requirements a plus but not required.
Ability to manage, hire and coordinate sub-contractors.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, sub-contractors and clients.
