Hiring Licensed General Dentist for Willow Grove, PA Private Dental Office
High Quality, PPO insurance based general dentist office looking for a responsible, professional, and out going dentist to add to our team.
General Dentist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fixing or removing damaged teeth
- Filling cavities (resin/composite only)
- Performing exams and evaluating x-rays to determine a patient’s health and identify any areas of concern.
- Develop and thoroughly explain treatment plans that will address any issues such as fillings, extractions, or crowns.
- Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain, remove infection, and improve patient's overall health.
- Interact, instruct, and demonstrate specific methods/routines that will help improve the patients overall health.
- Measuring, fitting, and take impressions for dental appliances (such as night guards, orthodontic retainers, dentures, crowns, and bridges. Our office has impression materials (Examples: light/heavy body,and aliginate) as well as a digital scanner for impressions.
- Identify and explain reasons for Referring patients to a specialist if necessary
- Ability/Understanding of Respecting patients, co-workers, and any office equipment/instruments
General Dentist skills and qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- A valid Pennsylvania State License to Practice dentistry
- Confidence and Ability to communicate with patients regarding their health and dental concerns.
- Ability to work under pressure and still maintain quality of work
- Patience and Understanding when explaining or discussing treatment plans, medical history, or specific medical conditions.
- Must have good problem solving skills
- Must have up to date Knowledge of HIPAA, ADA guidelines, Patient Consent, and office policies.
