About Customer and Operations Services
Southern California Edison’s (SCE’s) Customer Service Organizational Unit (CS) shares the responsibility to safely deliver reliable, affordable electricity to our customers. We support this effort by working to meet customer expectations. Customer Service is dedicated to operational excellence and innovative thinking through our workforce in our call center, field operations, billing and payment center, outage and demand-side management and other service offerings
The Administrative Aid will work with the Manager of Energy Education Center Tulare to provide general reception to the customers and students visiting the center and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.
Manage Outlook calendars effectively to maximize management's time and minimize excessive driving. Schedule, coordinate and submit invitations for meetings/conference calls/WebEx on behalf of managers. Prepare meeting materials/presentations, travel arrangements, conference room reservations, and meal orders. Review upcoming calendar events with management to ensure attendance/adequate preparation of materials. Effectively communicate last-minute changes to impacted parties. Review calendars and create draft mileage logs for management's approval.
Send reminders to management's staff of expense report due dates.
Process non-PO payments for management and staff for all contributions, dues and memberships or submit check request forms as needed. Process non-PO payment of vendor invoices for meal orders, supplies and tools.
Create coded-material PREQS for clothing, supplies and tools. Create goods receipt entries in SAP for PREQs created against POs. Create service entry sheets in SAP against approved vendor POs.
Support other customer and community outreach activities, including on-location promotion support, outreach activity support, etc.
Safety Support - Monthly safety meetings and EH&S
Direct administrative support provided to the manager of Energy Education Center Tulare
High school diploma or GED
Two (2) or more years’ experience performing administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
Good interpersonal skills
Associate degree or higher
Experience using email and calendaring applications as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
