Specific Responsibilities Include
Build an ever-increasing understanding of our consumer and their behavior inside and outside of our restaurants.
Partner with the cross-functional teams in building sources of data and tools to analyze the incoming data.
Be the expert in analyzing consumer data - be highly proficient in the source of data and how it can be used across the organization.
Break down complex analyses and effectively translate these analyses into actionable insights.
Pair the consumer data with restaurant-level transactional data to provide a holistic view of the consumers' behavior on business performance.
Effectively communicate actionable insights from a wide range of data sources focusing on what action the organization should take from the data to grow sales and profits.
Lead the design and placement of A/B testing throughout our digital platforms
Partner with User Experience, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams in the objective of A/B studies.
Place the studies with excellence across our digital platforms.
Analyze the results from A/B testing and identify relevant insights and conclusions.
Effectively communicate the insights from the studies with a focus on actions to be taken.
Lead the understanding of how our customers are utilizing our digital channels and how this activity translates into restaurant visits.
Analyze web, mobile, and kiosk customer journeys to develop trends and insights from existing consumer behavior.
Test and evaluate the impact of new digital environments on the customer journey with a focus of growing sales and transactions.
Partner with external suppliers in developing and implementing new tools to ultimately connect the online and in-restaurant behaviors.
Partner with the broader Insights team on qualitative, quantitative, and syndicated research programs to better understand consumer behavior and build robust insights from consumer data.
Partner with IT in continual improvement of our data quality and analysis capabilities while ensuing robust integrity of all consumer data.
This position will be based at The Wendy's Company headquarters in Dublin, a suburb of Columbus, OH. The Wendy's Company is the world's second largest quick-service hamburger company. Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree: Analytics, Market Research, Statistics, Modeling, Financial Analysis, or similar degree or experience.
3+ years experience in consumer analytics, data management, marketing analytics, social insights, web analytics, or similar field; food industry or retail experience beneficial but not required.
Demonstrated ability to master both the technical aspects of the job but also the ability to effectively communicate actionable insights through written and verbal approaches.
Ability to work in agile and highly dynamic work environment where the pace of change is rapid and highly competitive amongst peer brands.
Strong understanding of a wide range of statistical and analytical tools with an ability to build capability as part of the role and recommend improvements to existing capabilities.
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
Master's Degree in a related field.
