As a Warehouse Logistics Training Instructor, you will provide leadership for our Warehouse Logistics Training Academy for all warehouse operations and safety regulations. You will serve as a mentor to students and create an educational experience for participants from orientation to graduation. You will enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) ensuring CFBNJ is operating in compliance with operational/product policies and procedures set forth by Feeding America.
- Deliver training in logistics and warehouse management to a high standard, developing innovative and participatory methods.
- Assist students in developing skills and obtaining knowledge targeted toward warehouse/logistics services jobs.
- Set and convey classroom rules and expectations for the students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback for learning.
- Record student attendance and prepare weekly reports for management, update files when necessary.
- Assign and manage daily tasks to warehouse staff.
- Supervise students in safe operations of all lift equipment and trucks, which includes certification, equipment maintenance, and equipment logs.
- Supervise and assist with maintenance and cleaning of facilities.
- Monitor and communicate inventory supply needs.

- High School graduate. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma training/certification a plus
- Three to five years of experience in warehouse distribution and at least three years of supervision and teaching experience
- Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with computers
- Analytical ability to gather and interpret information and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
- Certified pallet jack and forklift operation and other materials-handling equipment
