The entry level Promotions Coordinator will create and maintain promotional partnerships with local and regional businesses with the purpose of positioning long term partnerships. The entry level Promotions Coordinator is a field sales position responsible for driving business, brand loyalty and brand recognition in a defined, geographic territory through both new business development and existing business growth strategies. The entry level Promotions Coordinator works in conjunction with an account team to grow territory and client sales through product education sell-in and sell through strategies, business consultation, merchandising, promotions and strong relationship management.
Generate new customers using sales and direct marketing techniques
Present and introduce products and services to customers
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor
Facilitate campaign meetings with team members on a daily basis
Participate in classroom training sessions
Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge
Assist in training and development of new hires
Bachelor's Degree is preferred, however, can be replaced with experience in sales or management of a team
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the over the phone (if dealing with clients or team members)
Effective presenter with both large and small groups - this is crucial as the Promotions Sales Manager’s team grows they will start qualifying for spearheading daily sales meetings
Strong leadership and exceptional customer service skills
