Responsibilities:
- Manage the reporting and analysis activity for FS Prepared F&A team to drive effective decision-making by the business
Track financial results of the business through timely and accurate reporting and analysis
Highlight key trends and issues and make thoughtful recommendations to key leaders on business impact drivers
Assist in preparation of the monthly forecast estimate, quarterly projection, annual operating plan, and long-range plan
Perform various activities as part of the monthly/quarter close
Interface with other departments to manage volume, cost, and supply chain knowledge/questions
Partner with category management to effectively plan, forecast, and monitor SG&A and Marketing expenses
Establish/maintain accrual rates
Requirements
- B.S. in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent
1+ years of previous financial or business experience preferred
Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Familiar with advanced formulas, pivot tables, database query design
Advanced system knowledge working with Forge, SAP, Power BI a plus
Must have strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Requires standard computer skills including generating spreadsheets, word processing and power point templates.
Experience with SAP Financial applications, SAP Manufacturing/Costing applications, and Tyson
Financial Reporting applications preferred.
Relationship management and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of all business cycles, systems and processes that impact Sales and Operations (Order to Cash, Demand Planning, Prepared Plant Operations, Purchase to Pay, Shared Services and Sales Operations).
- Must have expertise of mining and manipulating complex financial data in Excel.
- Uses intellectual curiosity to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Able to quickly distill and effectively communicate the key aspects of a variety of business issues affecting the business.
