Working as a Spanish Interpreter at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center you will enjoy:
- Facilitating communication between patients and families with LEP and medical center staff.
- Providing accurate, comprehensive, and professional medical interpreting services in-person or remotely.
- Recognizing the complexity of the clinical encounter relative to the language barrier, adjust communication to the level of understanding and/or need for clarification.
- Using culturally appropriate behavior to choose the appropriate time to clarify or interject.
- Maintain a sense of cultural awareness while respecting the goals of the encounter.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of work experience in a medical interpreting role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Unique Skills:
- Spanish language proficiency
Preferred:
- National medical interpreter certification
