We are looking for a non-inventory buyer who will be responsible for placing and tracking orders of non-inventory supplies. Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, definition of standard processes, continuous improvements to help us scale and end user support for inventory management of non-inventory items across our network of retail stores. This position will support internal and external cross-functional teams to execute against business needs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and has a deep passion for innovative retail design. SCOPE:
The Non-inventory Buyer will be a vital link as the primary procurement point of contact. This individual will be tasked to work closely with the business, operations, marketing, store development and technical teams to execute procure-to-pay for all non-inventory items. The core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, definition of standard processes and end user support for procurement, execution of procure-to-pay and inventory management strategies of non-inventory items across our network of retail stores.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the point of contact for store project procurement for the non-inventory items.
Coordinate and execute purchase orders including full tracking up to delivery on site.
Own effective materials management of all non-inventory items (e.g. lanyards, bookmarks, bags, brochures, seasonal signage).
Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy, educating and driving the correct behaviors of business stakeholders.
Manage and drive down the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process.
Manage and identify opportunities to reduce costs for operational support services contracted across store portfolio (e.g. cell phones, pagers, printers)
Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time.
Identify and drive process improvements and cost savings for inventory management of non-inventory items and replenishment strategies.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Ensure availability of all goods and services in time
Earn the trust of key stakeholders
Ensure alignment in all processes and driving for continuous improvements
Define and report on key metrics that measure effectiveness of supply and cost savings
Proactively support business owners to ensure equipment/ consumables/ service availability to meet agreed timelines

Basic Qualifications
Good understanding of standard procurement & inventory management procedures as well as industry standards
Very strong communication skills
High precision in verbal and written communication
Proficiency in using ERP systems (ideally Coupa) in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment
Experienced in engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues
Previous experience in Purchasing including supplier relationship management
Contract and Price negotiation experience
Very strong MS Excel skills
Ability to work independently with limited general supervision
Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills are important
Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive consensus when conflicting requirements are identified
Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION:
A completed Bachelor’s or Master's Degree from an accredited university
