The Store Services Specialist is responsible for the management of national and test store service programs that provide service to Tractor Supply Company stores. This position is also responsible for revenue generating services/programs that are being tested, rolled out or active in any Tractor Supply store.
Work with vendors implementing measures to continually reduce operating costs and increase service efficiencies; champion continuous process improvement; grow revenue generating programs.
Serve as main point of contact for Stores, answer and assist with all program related questions, issues, and setup including service requests, repairs, training, new store setup, relocation, and policies.
Partner with vendors to ensure all service/program issues are addressed and that all services and programs are maintained and operational at all times.
Partner with internal and external teams to ensure all store team members are trained/licensed as needed and stores are in compliance with regulation and direction from Federal, State, and Local Inspectors/Fire Marshals as required to execute services and programs in store.
This includes any required annual certifications or re-certifications.
Proactively identify individual store issues with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, then work with stores/vendors to make corrective decisions.
Review program status, initiatives, operations, and expenses regularly by monitoring service reporting, analyses, and measure of success.
Develop, implement, and manage new store service programs, test programs, and projects related to area of responsibility. (Example: Home Delivery, Bulk Propane, PetVet Clinics, Equipment Rental)
Process additional/escalated service requests, approve invoices, assist in developing fiscal operating budgets, and manage P&L.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to make decisions regarding service/program direction and future expansions.
This includes partnering with the Procurement Team to perform line reviews (RFP’s) as contracts expire.
Experience: 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, and retail industry preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Capable of representing Tractor Supply Company to all third party vendors and soliciting organizations required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel required.
Effectively negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
Ability to travel once per quarter.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project.
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize initiatives and develop long-term plans.
Ability to identify root cause of problems and deliver results.
