We’re looking for an experienced junior developer to take on key roles and responsibilities throughout a long-term project within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This team provides technical and project leadership in support of IAM for the Boeing Enterprise. Join our team and leverage your knowledge in Software Development and Integration, Identity and Access Management, Cyber Security, and Agile development best practices including DevOps to provide first-time quality services to the Boeing enterprise.

Your key-responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing code.

Position Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to design, program and execute test plans. Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software.
Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements.
Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design.
Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
Documents, validates and researches reported problems and assists in developing user training.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experienced and proficient with back-end programming languages (i.e. Java, .NET, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, C, SQL for data-base queries)
Minimum 2 years programming in Java in a Linux environment
Experience with code versioning tools (i.e. Git, SVN)
Experience using business logic to filter/manipulate data and work with APIs to deliver data to the presentation layer
System architecture experience and/or education
Understand the implementation of security and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experienced in implementing new processes to increase team productivity
Completed a full-stack application (LAMP stack preferred, but not exclusive)
Experience applying design patterns to optimize the structure of the application
Strong self-starter and leadership skills

Typical Education/Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
