Position summary

Do you have a passion for sales and working in a fast-paced industry? We are currently looking for a passionate and high-energy individual to join our sales team as a Automotive Direct Sales Team Member Reporting to the Team Lead/Director of Direct Sales, this position is responsible for receiving and responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat using the company’s Customer Relationship Management system. Your compensation will be based on meeting specific performance goals in terms of appointments set and the number of sales closed.


Ideal Professional Qualifications:

No automotive background required but you should be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Specific credentials include:

  • Deep understanding of internet–based technologies and desktop applications such as Word and Excel, and CRM tools
  • Strong attention to detail and efficient time management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to think creatively and innovatively with a flexible and adaptable personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presenting to and collaborating with the highest level executives
  • Personal characteristics should include: an entrepreneurial spirit, creativeness, strong teamwork skills, a real passion for new technologies, excellent leadership abilities, flexibility, and high-energy


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Complete all sales, factory, and technology training to help facilitate product and process knowledge
  • Manage your daily goals and workflow effectively using the tools given to you including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Respond to leads promptly and in a professional manner
  • Follow up with customers promptly and frequently to improve number of appointments and amount of vehicles sold
  • Master the Price-Simms selling methodology
  • Set budget and performance goals as well as non-financial objectives that complement our business strategy and organizational goals
  • Respond to all customer inquires on the phone and over email in less than 30 minutes
  • Complete all activity logging accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in vendor webinars and training to gain an understanding of the latest technologies and how to use them. Seek assistance when you are uncertain of a process or need help with a system
  • Ensure you set the necessary amount of appointments to meet sales goals
  • Understand all systems and are competent in using them
