Operations Manager
Position Purpose

The Momentum Operations Manager is responsible to oversee, facilitate, and manage the Momentum Program, leading the team, and managing to the terms of the contract with the State of Colorado Office of Behavioral Health. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and shall act as the liaison with OBH and other contractors as necessary. The Momentum Program provides intensive and innovative case management services to individuals requiring intensive care in order to remain in the community, including individuals transitioning out of the Mental Health Institutes, children and youth with significant psychiatric and/or multiple system involvement, and adults with behavioral health needs and significant barriers to transition.. This position maintains responsibility for leadership of the Momentum Program, collaborating with the Office of Behavioral Health, the MHI staff, CMHC staff, and other providers throughout the state of Colorado.

Essential Duties

Management and supervision of staff
Responsible for the overall performance of the Momentum Program.
Be accountable for Program Managers and other personnel and ensure appropriate staffing in support of the Momentum contract.
Use knowledge of the behavioral health system and available community resources to enhance the program.
Develop, implement, and manage process for providing initial and recurrent training of staff in accordance with the contract.
Ability to promote the mission, vision, and values of RMHS both in the workplace and in the community.
Administers policies and procedures for RMHS in partnership with Human Resources, Finance, Funder Contracts and other Departments as appropriate.
Supervises Program Managers and other personnel-interviews, hires, trains, mentors, conducts performance evaluations and performance improvement plans to ensure achievement of performance standards.
Ensures data integrity and systems to achieve performance outcomes and inform corporate dashboards.

Contract Performance:
Monitor all phases of the project in accordance with work plans and timelines.
Ensure effective communication and meaningful reporting of performance measures to key stakeholders within RMHS and OBH.
Identify and report to the Director on team activities and issues that may adversely impact the delivery of services under the contract.
Collect, maintain, report, analyze and trend data on performance measures, and data collection methods, to demonstrate effectiveness of the program in achieving outcomes identified between OBH and RMHS.
Ensure the completion of all work in accordance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of mental health direct clinical experience.
2-4 years of management/leadership experience preferably in the mental health field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Eligible for within one year of hire or currently hold a Colorado License, without sanctions, required in a behavioral health discipline such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LAC, or licensed psychologist.
Ability to complete required training as required by the State of Colorado.
Automobile with valid driver’s license and insurance.
Driving Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Proof of motor vehicle insurance
Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work
No major violations in the past three years.
No more than two moving violations in the past three years
Ability to meet and maintain agency driving requirements and operate agency vehicles
Personal Insurance Waiver (For Momentum Staff only)

All Momentum Staff must include a Business Use policy on their personal automobile insurance.

All Momentum Drivers must upload proof of ongoing auto insurance every 6 months into Paycom/Relias.

All Momentum Drivers must carry Bodily Injury Liability Limits of $300,000 each person/$300,000 each occurrence. Additional liability limits are recommended.

Any Accidents and/or damages while using a personal vehicle for work purposes shall be the sole responsibility of the employee. RMHS is not responsible for any damage incurred to the employee’s personal property.
