The Business Office Manager is responsible for maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, assisting with payroll and billing in addition to resident trust and cash receipts including collections. As the Business Office Manager you will perform all billing accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current generally accepted accounting principles and cost reimbursement principles relating to long-term care including billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Business Office Manager acts as administrative assistant and receptionist; meets public and staff; organizes, prioritizes and performs assigned work; assures accuracy of all reports and records pertaining to assigned work; orders supplies as needed and handles maintenance needs on equipment such as copy machines, adding machines/calculators, printers and computers. The Business Office Manager is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current prevailing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
