Skyward, A Verizon company is hiring an sUAS Sales Sales Development Representative capable of creating opportunities with Skyward’s prospective clients. The ideal candidate has experience working with SaaS based software solutions in emerging technology. The candidate must be able to relate complex technical concepts in a meaningful and impactful way that resonate with multiple industry experts. As a close partner of our sales team, Sales Development Representatives own key components of the sales process including research, outbound prospecting, fostering relationships, and developing qualified prospective clients. Our ideal candidate will be able to explain the benefits of our service and approach to multiple stakeholders including C-Level executives. Sales Development Representatives at Skyward will be partnered with our sales team to foster new opportunities. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of how to influence sales opportunities and create leads as well as communicate technical details that relate to individual organizational business needs.
What you’ll be doing...
This sUAS Development Representative will work closely with Skyward Sales Team to create opportunities for the Skyward sales team.
Develop Skyward Sales leads across multiple geographies, industries, and use cases
Discovery consultations to understand sUAS use case, program organization, operating procedures
Create discussion and demonstrate software features the impact real business scenarios
Communicate customer needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales
Support enterprise sales leaders in opportunity creation and fostering relationships
Working with Sales Enablement to best develop process to create new meetings and opportunities
Meet with Skyward clients remotely or in-person as part of sales or services engagements
Present Skyward software solutions to a large audience and receive a number of questions that relate to the scenario that is most effective for the client
What we’re looking for...
You will need to. have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, sUAS, or comparable fields
Experience in the sUAS space
Experience in sales development or direct sales in a SaaS based business
Even better if you have
Ability to learn the Skyward SaaS platform (web & mobile apps) at expert-level proficiency
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing scenarios
Experience with sUAS industry understanding and concepts
Ability to read and understand aviation regulatory, policy, operational requirements and reconcile them with client business needs in order to recommend best practices for the employment of sUAS
Familiarity with small unmanned aircraft system operations, equipment and performance characteristics
Able to travel within the continental USA as needed
