Business Priorities:
Kimberly-Clark’s Shared Services operations are moving from a functional regional model to a Global Business Services (GBS) model. Global Business Services operates in 6 sites with 1000+ employees worldwide and growing. Business functions within the GBS scope are Accounting-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, Management Reporting, Real Estate and Facilities Management. Continuous Improvement is a signature capability of GBS and will be a key driver to deliver cost savings to the enterprise by reducing complexity, delivering services more efficiently and effectively, and freeing up capacity to further grow the GBS operations, enabling business teams to focus on profitably growing our business.

Role Accountabilities:
This position takes work direction from the Sr. Director, SM&T, leads a global CI Team and works closely with the global delivery center leadership team to deliver a GBS CI Transformation Strategy aligned with the GBS Transformation Strategy and all Kimberly-Clark business strategies

Teaching and coaching continuous improvement to adopt the CI mindset and “new way of working” across the GBS organization by providing expert guidance in Lean/Six Sigma including strategic deployment, waste elimination, process standardization, process management systems, 4 step problem solving, design to value, and DMAIC Project Execution.
Managing key stakeholder relationships & expectations across the regional senior leadership team and GBS senior leadership team by maintaining effective communication cadence and nurturing 1-2-1 relationships and driving timely & effective escalation & resolution of issues
Working closely with GBS Delivery Centers leaders and Global Process Owners to Identify and drive opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation of business processes
Lead and manage teams in Delivery of GBS CI Foundation Training Program (Lean/Sigma) and Six Sigma Certification Program
Identify, analyze, design and implement core business processes improvements driving cost savings, control improvement and improve overall process performance
Support the migration of new work to across the delivery network by developing process health metrics and visual management to provide early indication of process issues
Main Purpose of Role

The Global Business Services (GBS) Global Continuous Improvement (CI) Sr. Manger will be responsible for managing and executing the GBS CI Transformation strategy across the GBS Delivery Network. Role includes leading a global CI Team building Lean & Six Sigma capability of leaders and employees to deliver customer value every day (speed, quality, cost, customer satisfaction). The CI Sr. Manager role will influence senior leaders regarding mindset & behavioral changes necessary to establish a culture of continuous improvement and be a strategic thinker and problem solver, capable of analyzing complex business processes and leading projects & teams focused on standardizing, optimizing and automating business operations.

Essential Knowledge/ Experience

The GBS CI Sr. Manager position requires:
Four-year under-graduate degree in a professional business subject – mandatory
A post-graduate degree is desired
A minimum of ten years professional business process experience preferably with a Global Business Service environment
Virtual team management experience
Lean and Black Belt Six Sigma Certification with project experience
Robotics Process Automation knowledge (process design or technical experience with Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere)
Proficient English speaker
