As the Senior Product Manager for our Student Loan Refinancing team, you'll report to the Head of Product and join a team that enables our users to save millions of dollars in interest from their existing student loans.
Student Loan Refinancing is Earnest's largest product. We combine data science, experience design, and technology to offer a unique solution to our users. We're competing against both traditional banks and other Fintech companies to help people unlock the value of refinancing with Earnest.
You'll develop an understanding of our users' problems, while partnering with design and research to create solutions that address them with a deep empathy, and work with engineering to bring them to life. Given the scale of our product, we're working to tackle both optimization and reinvention.

What You'll Do:
Create a roadmap to improve our client experience and conversion for student loan refinancing
Partner with research, design , and analytics to create a deeper understanding of our user personas and their behavior within our product
Help conduct user interviews and translate user needs into new feature ideas
Partner with our data science and analytics teams to build enhanced price optimization technology
Work closely with multiple cross functional stakeholders - engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams - to set product strategy, define and prioritize new features
Use web analytics to understand and influence customer behavior within our funnel
Ideal background and expertise:
3+ years of experience at leading technology companies in Product Management, Growth, or other roles bridging business and technology
Deep analytical capabilities - dive in to find insights, even (especially) in messy or incomplete data
Grittiness - you'll dive in and tackle our biggest growth challenges hands-on
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Finance; MBA preferred
Financial services, Fintech, or lending familiarity is a plus
