Our company manages multiple Urgent Care and Animal Hospitals in Savannah and across the state of Georgia. We are growing rapidly and opening new locations each year. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a great team and wants to grow with the business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Fulfill and implement full-cycle A/P
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Business Office
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Command of account reconciliation
Reviews and evaluates payments with respect to completeness and compliance
Ensures all payment requests have appropriate back-up documentation attached
Sort, register, scan and store invoices, checks and other documents
Verify, log and send checks, including special handling
Reconcile and process 1099 payment transactions based on IRS regulations and accounting principles
Provide support to internal business partners
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing
Maintain historical records by filing documents
Demonstrates Service Excellence in all interactions with internal and external customers
Perform special projects, as assigned
Associates Degree or BS/BA in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
2+ years Accounts Payable experience strongly recommended
Microsoft Excel and Word experience required
Intuit Quickbooks experience preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Accurate data entry in a high-volume context required
Quickbooks experience a plus
Familiarity with standard PC software programs: Excel, Word,
Ability to analyze and process Excel-based spreadsheets
Strong math skills
Excellent attention to detail
