Job Overview
As a pediatric physical therapist at our company, you will play a crucial role in helping clients work on daily skills and goals. You will work closely with children of all ages to improve their physical health and overall well-being. Positions in outpatient, early intervention, and school based are available as both part-time and full-time opportunities.
Duties
- Evaluate patients' medical history and conditions to determine the best course of treatment
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric patients, or desire to gain experience
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy
- Ability to quickly change treatment plan based upon patient's interaction
- Ability to work independently and maintain a caseload with limited assistance
