Full Job Description
Assist a defense agency client with supply chain resilience planning. Perform analysis of activities involved in sourcing, conversion, and logistics management, including products, services, and solutions. Design and execute integrated supply chain solutions, including material information, financial flows, and coordination of supply, manufacturing, and delivery system. Develop operating forecasts, perform risk analyses, apply and utilize inventory management and production planning tools, develop production capacity plans, and track supply chain performance and resilience within or across business units. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas to mitigate risks. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly creative solutions. Serve as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs.
10+ years of experience with implementing and leading support to logistics functions and IT solutions within federal agencies
2+ years of experience in working with the DoD market in business development, project manager or a technical role
2+ years of experience with program management and business systems development
Knowledge of DoD acquisition functions
Ability to show an established base of client and industry relationships in the DoD
Ability to obtain a security clearance
AA or AS degree
2+ years of experience with working in the DoD with business development processes, including capture, proposal, and client and industry development
Experience with DoD Logistics Operations Business Programs
Ability to display functional or technical expertise in one or more DoD lines of business or major IT systems and programs
BA or BS degree in Logistics Management or a related field
