Bentleys Pet Stuff - Northgate, CO


As a Bentley’s Pet Stuff Team Member, you’ll educate pet parents to provide nourishment for furry family members. Your role will include maintaining the sales floor and displays and selling product in support of regional standards. You will ensure a positive experience by providing outstanding customer service, displaying a passion for animals, and offering expertise for an all-natural pet lifestyle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience by greeting, listening to and assisting customers while exceeding their needs, as well as demonstrating an excellent knowledge of our products
  • Cross sell all product categories during each guest experience
  • Ensure each customer is educated on the whole experience and product lines that Bentley’s Pet Stuff offers
  • Guide customers to the right products to fit the needs of their pet
  • Ensure the achievement of individual and store goals by contributing to the enhancement and development of the business through customer engagement, social media, planning in-store events and outward community marketing
  • Contribute to the management of the visual displays of the products
  • Ensure appropriate levels of product on sales floor by replenishing product daily

Key Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail role, being a passionate pet owner is a plus
  • Working knowledge of retail POS systems
  • Must be comfortable handling cash
  • Maintaining store cleanliness at all times
  • Ability to stand on one’s feet for 8 hours or longer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the work day
  • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results
  • Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different customers and their needs
  • Team-player mentality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in Bentley’s procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job, and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.
