The Warehouse and Maintenance Coordinators primary responsibility is the organization, inventory, and control of the shop and all parts storage areas throughout the facility. Additional duties include general maintenance and repairs, including all equipment, buildings and grounds. They will be trained in other areas of terminal operations to assist the Terminal Operators as needed.

Responsible for maintaining records and inventory of all parts, tools and supplies needed for the maintenance of plant equipment.
Organize and maintain inventory of tools, repair parts, and consumable supplies
Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance plans
Prepare work related reports about the repairs that were made, the materials were used and the costs incurred in completing these works.
Provide management reports and key performance data and monitor cost savings.
Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues
Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimize commercial terms
Assess tenders from potential suppliers
Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy
Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to plant equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and general grounds maintenance.
Hands-on operation of the terminal equipment and daily operating functions of the terminal as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal control procedures - communicating problems in operations, unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: Associates or relevant Trade degree
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years
Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office programs.

High Mechanical aptitude and ability. Knowledge of office equipment. Pleasant and positive attitude working with co-workers, customers, and the public. Physical ability to work at heights, confined-enclosed areas, and perform unloading functions.
Strong working knowledge of cutting, welding and different material as well as the use of a number of hand tools, skills in hydraulic, high pressure and low pressure air systems, and a basic electrical knowledge.
Must be able to organize and maintain records pertaining to all described duties
Must have mechanical background and welding experience are desirable

Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset
