MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a PRN (as-needed) RPSGT (Technologist) to work in the Washignton, DC area.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Work under the general supervision of the Lead Polysomnographic Technologist, Clinical Director, or Area Manager to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient care and education. 1:3 Differential Pay offered in addition to regular rate.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs, and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols. Perform Polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free and make adjustments, if necessary.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma and completion of an accredited Polysomnography program, to work as a Polysomnographic Technologist.

REQUIREMENTS:
Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - "RPSGT." Current BCLS certification.
