Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.
Technology Policy Development team is a part of Technology Control function with the responsibility to govern Technology Policy Development process. This process requires an understanding of technology policy landscape as well as understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to Technology. The candidate will act as a lead of Policy Development Center of Excellence, responsible for maintaining and streamlining team’s procedures, working closely with policy development leads to ensure procedures are followed, documentation is well organized and stored; training materials are developed. The candidate will also be responsible for streamlining and automating current processes and reporting, and will act as a liaison between policy development and enterprise tool management teams to lead the efforts in transferring policy content into an automated solution.
6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with Technology Policy development and /or Technology Policy Review process
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to create BRDs for tool enhancements
Demonstrated ability to effectively execute in a large, diverse, matrixed organization
Demonstrated knowledge of Technology and Security risk framework – COBIT, FFIEC, NIST, ITIL, COSO, BASEL, and OCC Heightened Standards
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of strategic elements of financial, operational, technical and regulatory environments across a complex global services environment
Professional certifications such as CPA, CSCP, CRCM, CGEIT, CRISC, CITP, CISA, CISSP desired but not required
