Summary: This is a temporary position, funded for the purposes of providing additional assistance to the community due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under general to limited supervision, provides professional-level administrative support to management which requires exercise of independent judgement and initiative. Assists in the operation, management and planning for the Center of Community Health as the administrative assistant to COVID-19 Case Investigations or Contact Tracer team. In addition to routine administrative duties, works closely with the epidemiology team to perform data entry and limited notifiable disease case follow up. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb & Douglas Counties.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree from an accredited college or university AND One year related experience OR Three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be tech savvy to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Experience working in a Public Health setting. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Salary Information: $15 hourly up to 29 hrs/wk(No Benefits, Temp Assignment ends August 2021)
