Position Title: Hardware Engineer II
Location: Seattle, WA

Position Responsibilities:
Create power systems, write firmware, design digital circuits, layout PCBs and debug circuits. Work in cross functional teams and deliver simple solutions to complex problems. Design innovative audio/video systems using state of the art engineering tools and techniques. Collaborate with software engineers to tune and optimize audio signal processing algorithms. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to design a cost-effective and easy to use assembly. Design and source transducers, amplifiers, codecs and other sub-components for system wide optimization. Follow through manufacturing process to ensure the highest build quality. Test and validate hardware/software quality issues pre and post production.
Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have two years of experience with: ODM/OEMs for all stages of product development; FCC/CE compliance pre-screening and debugging; developing robust designs for ESD/EMI immunities and RF de-sensitization; designing products for wireless networks, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, GPS, WiFi or Bluetooth; architecting, designing, and implementing, analog, digital and high-speed circuit design; and processor architecture, digital circuit design and communications protocols including I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI or I2S. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.
