Social Media, Communications & Outreach Manager

As our Social Media, Communications & Outreach Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our community, driving engagement and making sure our vibe is felt both online and offline. You’ll help us showcase everything from our high-energy workouts to our amazing fitness fam, keeping SWEAT DC front of mind (and on everyone’s feed). But it doesn't stop there—your role will be key in expanding our reach in the D.C. area and beyond!
**What You'll Do:**
- Create cool, engaging content for all our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and beyond)
- Get the word out about SWEAT DC and our new studios by connecting with local community groups, apartments, and organizations to bring new faces through our doors
- Create all internal and external marketing materials for our studios and ensure they’re posted where members can see them—both in-studio and online
- Keep our community connected and excited about upcoming classes, events, and challenges
- Help craft our voice and messaging, making SWEAT DC the most fun, approachable fitness brand out there
- Work closely with our team to ensure that our vibe and mission are reflected in everything we do
- Be an ambassador for our brand, helping us grow our reach and make new friends in the fitness world
**What You Bring:**
- A love for all things social media and a knack for creating content that pops
- Experience managing social accounts, growing engagement, and building community
- Strong communication skills and a passion for outreach—you know how to build relationships and bring people together
- A passion for fitness and wellness (if you love working out, you’ll fit right in!)
- Creativity, a positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit
- Bonus points if you have experience in photography, videography, or graphic design

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Schedule:
- Choose your own hours
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Washington, DC 20010 (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Washington, DC 20010: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
