Our client is a highly successful heavy truck dealership seeking a Service Manager to run service operations at their Denver facility. You will be tasked to increase the revenue and profit of the service department and develop the team of diesel technicians. Prior experience managing a team of tradespeople is absolutely imperative, as it the ability to communicate effectively with customers & other departments. This is a fast-pace environment and it is critical that incoming candidates have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to succeed. Previous experience working as a mechanic is desirable, but not required.
Where you will shine in your ability to drive production and forge relationships with both customers and service technicians. You must be a confident people-manager with experience monitoring performance and providing guidance and/or discipline as necessary, as your team's ability to meet and exceed production targets will reflect directly on you as their manager. You be a key resource for customers to ensure service work is completed to professional standards and within client specifications.

Required Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Manager in a trucking/transportation environment
Outstanding people-management skills
Production & performance-driven attitude
Previous mechanic/technician experience is a strong asset
Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
