SCAD seeks a proactive manager of annual fund and stewardship communications. This position can be based in Atlanta or Savannah, Ga.
In this full-time role, you will oversee and develop the university’s annual fund program and create stewardship communications that inspire investment in SCAD. You will organize and coordinate all operational facets of the annual fund program, from direct mail and email campaigns to faculty/staff communication and more. You will also create monthly and quarterly SCAD Giving-related newsletters and annual reports for donor-created scholarships, as well as liaise with the university’s communications department to create ad hoc collateral to support fundraising.
The successful candidate is able to use their stellar interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to write persuasively, shifting tone and style as needed to suit a new medium or audience. The candidate is exceptionally detailed and organized, able to perform multiple, simultaneous tasks under deadline without sacrificing accuracy. With an eye for analytics, the candidate is able to forecast trends and pivot accordingly. An enthusiasm for delivering excellent internal and external customer service experiences and the university’s mission is essential. The candidate should also thrive in individual and team-oriented environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to communications and/or fundraising
Two or more years of relevant professional experience with annual fund campaigns and/or marketing and communications
Proficient with computers and basic software such as word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and project software
