YPS anesthesia is looking for an Anesthesiologist to join an excellent team at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Providers will be joining a very experienced anesthesia care team composed of 5 anesthesiologist and 16 nurse anesthetist.
Anesthesiologists need to be board certified or board eligible. Providers will supervise a wide range of case types spanning from neurology to podiatry. The majority of the heart and vascular cases are performed at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital which is staffed by a separated group of providers. The facility does no Trauma, OB or organ transplant procedures.
MD compensation is $450,000/yr ($37,500 monthly) on a 1099 with 8 weeks off. No in house call is required for this position and MD call is on a 1:5 rotation. When fully staffed pre - call and post - call is off. YPS has plenty of nearby opportunities if providers want to work during their off time. Malpractice insurance is covered by YPS.
